Alberto Rivera, a.k.a. Kjuarma Mazahua (Brother Mazahua), a folkloric musician, dancer, and artist originally from Mexico, is now based in Newark NJ. A proud original native and descendant of the MAZAHUA people, he presents exhibitions on folkloric garb of Aztec warriors (Meshicas), shown in New York, Passaic, and Newark. He is also a member of the Mexican folkloric group, Tonantzin Coatlicue. Which presents educational performances at schools, festivals, museums, and cultural events.
